Oceanview Paradise with Free Parking

Positive: While the apartment was nice, the management agency were very difficult to deal with. I had to ask a number of times to get a second set of keys. They charged me two separate deposits - one for the keys and one for damage. In total my deposits were $500. They only provide one towel per person and try and charge you extra if you ask for another towel. This apartment is not managed by the Meriton - which wasn’t very clear in their description. You have to go to another location to pick up the key. Negative: The beds were extremely uncomfortable.

A lovely spacios apartment, good location, amazing views of ocean, river and city. Good outdoor pool. BUT please provide Positive: Perfect location. Spacious apartment and all three bedrooms a good size. Agent very pleasant and kindly provided admission instructions two days in advance so we could ensure all guests received info before travelling from various NZ locations. A good size dining table with 6 chairs much appreciated. Great location and quiet building. Enclosed balcony proved a blessing as was very windy at times and we really enjoyed sitting there with the amazing views. Good having a designated carpark in the building. Negative: Only one lift/room key was provided for five adults 7 night stay, severely restricting our various activities. Three days to obtain at least a second key totally unacceptable. Cleanliness on the whole good but living room sofa badly stained; I took a photo on arrival as I was worried we’d be blamed and charged extra cleaning fee. Also duvet inners dirty/stained. No instructions provided for complicated washer/dryer combo. The indoor pools were hot and stuffy and to us unusable.
